I did today. Not the Super Duty I was looking at, but enough to handle my little trailer.

Washed it along with the DW's CR-V. As with the TT roof, both were caked with pollen from the last couple of weeks.

Very nice indeed! Hopefully it will be problem free. I noticed from the pic that you didn't get the Ecoboost engine, or I missed the emblem. Had enough of turbochargers?

No, it is the 3.5L Ecoboost. They only put one badge on the bottom right of the tailgate on the 18's.

I just found your other post about joining the Ford family. Again, congrats on the new truck!

Ordered a tri fold bed cover today and removed the 4x4 decals from the bedsides. While I liked the color scheme of the decals, I don’t need a reminder the truck has 4wd.

Thanks. I ended up scoring an absolutely incredible deal thanks to someone I met over at ford-trucks.com. It couldn't have worked out any better.

Excessive wear on outside right front tire. Took it to my favorite alignment shop and they replaced the camber and castor bushings with adjustable ones.

I'm good to go now and ready for 2 front tires.

I just wanted you to know that I drove to Lubbock, TX and back to Dallas this week. Got about .5 MPG better than previous trips with the new tires. Got 2 MPG better on the way back, but that was mainly due to a tail wind.

These repairs took place this week at the local dealer, but we picked up the truck this morning. We leave 3 weeks from today for the PNW and a 5k mile trip. I wanted to make sure there were no issues with our TV.
1st) We had them do an LOF.
2nd) Another recall on the airbags. They had to order a new ECU. Since the airbags are a safety issue, Toyota Motor Corp paid for a loaner until the recall was completed. It took 3 or 4 days to get the part.
3rd) Last summer I was told that the rack & pinion was leaking. The technician installed a new rack.
4th) The steering wheel vibrated when braking at speeds above 50mph. I asked them to go ahead and do a reline on the front brakes and turn the rotors (hoping they weren't warped beyond specs). There were some hot spots, but they were able to turn the rotors successfully. We bought the truck new in 2006 and it has 80k + miles on it now. It amazes me that the first set of brake pads lasted so long.

Ram 1500 EcoDiesel, removed "muffler" on the charged air side with a section of plain pipe. Improves air flow helping truck hold gear longer on the hills.

Removed and cleaned the throttle body, then cleaned out the inside. It's ready to roll to southern Utah late next week...

Brakes

2014 F150 with stock brakes. Had to turn the rotors when I first bought it with 40k miles, 68k mile now and needs turning already! Put on new heavy duty rotors and pads on for the season. Twisted the caliper on driver side, it's enough for the brake line to give enough torque to have the brake pad apply constant pressure on the rotor...and you start smelling it within 2-3 miles!! Took tire off and fixed it! Fun with truck repairs!!

Cummins

I had procrastinated long enough, 155,000 miles. I did the water pump,
T-stat, and new HOAT coolant.(Saturday). Sunday, valve adjust and CCV filter.
Have not deleted yet, but also unplugged the EGR and related system. With the use of a programmer. Excited to see how it will act this week.

Dropped off at dealership today for brake transmission shift recall and for water pump recall. Of course I have the water pump that’s part of the recall and have to wait for one to come in...service tech said they are only allowed to order 4 per week. I told them it sure would be nice to have water pump installed when I come back on 6/11 for my free oil change!

I know...You get what you pay for, but it was thrown in. It’s my last “free” one.
