Truck runs great but prior to my TT we've always towed a single car trailer or utility trailer (or hauled gravel in the bed). My TT is the biggest thing we've towed, thus finally noticing the trans temp issue.

In addition to the trans cooler I also ordered a Banks Intercooler kit for it too. We'll see how that does with everything else. I'm very excited.

Sounds like you’ve got it (or will soon) dialed in good!

Ordered my CP3 and LML conversion kit.
On my way to a 650hp tow pig. A lot more to come with that but it’s a big and $$$

Cummins did it right by staying with it. The Powerstrokes and Duramax (11-16) made the poor choice of the CP4.2

Going with a lift pump too, or just the CP3? I figure someday, I'll get it deleted, add a lift pump, and get cp3 conversion. Only at 21K miles now.

Finally got around to fixing one of the joints in the Bakflip VP bed cover. During a trip to the southwest last season the glue seemed to sort of melt away from one of the joints in the 100+ temps leaving one section sagging a bit. Hopefully the high temp multipurpose construction adhesive I used will hold up a little bit better than the original stuff. We'll find out before too long as we are headed back south in August....

Gave it a rest.
1558 miles.
9.3 mpg.
36 hours.

We had a fun week.
Fought some weather though.

Edit.
Probably close to 6 hours of unladen sight seeing included in those figures.
I saw moments of 7 mpg going downhill.
Real nasty headwinds around Santa Fe on Friday.

I have the FASS already and have had it for more miles now than I have had without it. I’m at 124k and I have been really happy with the truck. I’m going for 650hp so the Exergy Sportsman CP3 will not only get me there but keep me reliable.
When you are ready let me know. I have a great POC who does it safe, clean and right to keep you happy and on the road.
Wish I could post picture on here through the app. Haven’t been able to for a while smh.

Started chipping away on some truck maintenance before our trip to the Kern river in a few weeks. New rear Bilstein shocks with fronts and a fuel filter housing rebuild to do in a couple of weeks on the Duramax. Trying to budget my time

Boy you get a nice bang for your buck with some new shocks from an ol' high-mileage Sierra.

Cheers.

Replaced the radiator, water pump, thermostat and hoses. Installed the Banks intercooler and turbo hoses and installed the Mishimoto 6.0L transmission cooler. We'll see how it all runs today when I pickup the TT from the dealer.

2nd oil and filter change today. Little over 23,400 miles. Absolutely love driving this long truck especially towing! Gets better every time.

Gave him a bath, filled with gas and hooked him up as headed to Lake Superior for a week. Sure would like to get him a present for such dependable service dragging a camper or a boat around these last 4 years.

Absolutely nothing. It sat waiting on my medical procedure to be over. Today it's taking me back to the campground where I'm hosting (70 miles).

Got back Saturday from a week camp out at Robbers Cave State Park, then took it in to check the AC. I’m now waiting on mechanics to get through with it. They are replacing the compressor and also 4 new ball joints and a tie rod and doing a front end alignment.

Unloaded all the stuff from our camping trip when we returned on Tuesday. Started re-loading some stuff for our trip next week, filled it up with gas and washed it.
