Tom did you take it to a dealer for alignment?

Took mine to a Ford dealer for an alignment about a month ago. Tech checked and everything was good, but he did NOT check castor & camber. I said WTF??
That's part of the alignment. He said NO it isn't.
I told the service guy that they need to tell people they are NOT really doing an alignment and it was all a waste of time and money!!

That's good. I'm going to find someplace that will do a printout before and after it's all within specs.
These morons wanted $110.00 for alignment, then $175.00 for EACH side for castor & camber adjustments.
Needless to say.......it DID NOT hapen,,

LOL, not as fun as offroading. It was actually in support of the same animal rescue where we got our dog, and our across-the-street neighbour was selling home made scented candles there. So it was for a good cause.

A shop I went to before the dealer wanted the same thing. I thought they were nuts trying to charge that much for an alignment so I went to the dealer instead. They gave me the print out and it was $169.

Picked up a new oil filler cap from the dealership. I noticed what looked like significant gnaw marks on the old one — apparently mice or rats think that 20-year-old plastic tastes good? Also picked up some Fresh Cab and rodent repellent spray and doused the wiring and hoses under the hood.

Replaced the serpentine belt. What a PITA job that was! Dual alternators and about a 10’ long belt. Glad I’m not doing that again for a while

Actually, give yourself a pat on the back. That isn't exactly easy by yourself on a 6.7l.

You’re not kidding. Having a helping hand would have made it much better!

Replaced alternator. Weird part is I never got a battery light. Cranked up drove 60 miles from southside of Atlanta to northside of Atlanta. Cranked up headed back and and shortly after leaving lost radio then abs light came on and I knew I had a problem. By then I was in downtown Atlanta and knew if I stopped it was not going to crank back up being a diesel. Made the mistake of thinking I might could make it home about 30 miles to go. Only made it about 10 more miles and it died in one of the worst parts of Atlanta to be in. Had someone bring me a battery and drove home. Never got any warning light and the F350 does not have a gauge.

Oil change, fuel filter change, air filter change, rotate and spin balance the tires, full tank of diesel, it’s all ready for a trip to Montana to take my son to his mom’s house for Christmas
