I have read some good things about the PC. I’m glad you have it. I was considering this myself but have other pressing issues with the TV that need to be sorted. Nice purchase.

It's really interesting that you still have someone that is willing to turn rotors. The last place here that would do it stopped a few years ago.

The O’reillys auto parts by me turns rotors. We also have a Napa that does it too I think.

Our NAPA used to up until a few years ago. The Advance Auto Pars we have never did.

Took it to the dealer for an oil change and tire rotation. Drove it to work and then home. Exercised the four wheel drive on a muddy road near the house then washed it.

Finally got a small self powered/contained subwoofer installed and working yesterday. A bit better sounding tunes when rolling down the road.

A week ago I towed the 2410RL down to FL for a month, nary a problem with the set up.

I have always done my own brakes.Served as a marine engineer for decades so no problem. Most brake rotors are not able to be resurfaced.Sometimes I use a rollock pad and just buf them lightly. But if they are warped its very scetchy getting them turned on a brake lathe. There isnt sufficient material any more. The old school stuff was better by far.

I never turn a rotor. I think I did one time many years ago and they warped within a week. When the time is right I just replace them. New pads go on old rotors with the rotors never being touched unless they are warped then new ones are installed.

For the record I am VERY easy on brakes. My 2006 Sierra has original brakes on all 4 wheels and the clock says 192,000 miles. I'm a big believer in grade braking with the Allison and use it all the time even unloaded.

Got a LifeHammer for it. Probably going to mount it on the ceiling where the overhead console ends. If you haven't seen one, look it up. Glass breaker hammer and seat belt cutter.

There was an accident near my house a couple months back where a woman in a small SUV was hit by an out of control oncoming vehicle and rolled upside down into the ditch. It caught fire and both kids in car seats upside down. Smashing and cutting was how everyone got out safely. I ordered my emergency escape tool shortly thereafter.

I carry a fire extinguisher, safety vest, gloves, and first aid kit in my driver's door as well.
