Today i installed a Digital HID conversion kit. Last week I installed 3 inch oval nerf bars and a TonnoPro hard fold tonneau cover. Next on the list is a set of auxiliary reverse lights.

Dug the truck out of the three feet of snow we got last night, after I found out that the bobcat operator cleaning the sub division across the street lost control of his machine, crossed the street, jumped the curb went through the five foot high windrow of snow left by the snow plow and t-boned my truck. Instead of knocking on my door he left, took me three hours to track him down.

Installed new brake pads, rotors and caliper brackets on the rear axle. Apparently the older 2500s are prone to rusty caliper brackets that cause the rear pads lock in place and drag. Also installed so Infinity speakers in the rear doors...much better that the stock speakers!

I filled up with diesel at $3.06 per gallon at Waverly, Louisiana at the Tiger Truck Stop on the north side Interstate I-20 about exit #163.

Had to adjust the Roadmaster Active Suspension (RAS) again. This time I made sure BOTH tires were OFF THE GROUND and the suspension was obviously in FULL DROOP. Then I had to turn the springs quite a bit to get the "quarter"-sized spacer in between the coils.

Not sure if they are still breaking in or I just didn't get a good adjustment in the first place, but I will continue to check them...

Actually this was yesterday, but I drove my Sierra a bit over 400 miles to visit my sister in the Little Rock, AR area. It was nice to be able to fill up with diesel in Greenwood, MS for $3.05. I was not towing my Designer, that comes next week when I'm off to Florida for Christmas.

Changed the oil in both the Sierra (TV) and DW's XTerra (DD). Pulled and cleaned the K&Ns in both as well. Mine was okay, but I must have missed a cycle on DW's XTerra; there was enough dirt in there to plant flowers! DOH! All clean now though!

Debated over mounting location of auxiliary reverse lights. Several cups of coffee later, it is still undecided.

Changed the oil, filter and spark plugs. Got rid of the #6 cylinder misfire. Installed a new starter. Next up is transmission and coolant flush and replacement. Quickly followed by installing the backup camera.

Gave 'em all a bath! I could have stood up the long-handled brush in the bucket I used for my truck!

Changed-out the original serpentine and A/C belts, along with the original belt tensioners today. Went with all Gates products.

The original A/C belt had a few small cracks, the serpentine surprisingly still looked pretty good. The original tensioners were still "tight", but each did produce a little noise when rotated.

I removed the rear tire TPMS sensors to let the pressure down from 80 to 60 since I'm back from my trip and noted the right rear stem was leaking. I put the TPMS sensor back on after reducing the pressure and stopped by my tire store. It seems the schrader valve in the stem was just loose. Tightened and problem solved.

Had it towed to a local dealer because all the PS fluid was on the ground. They just called and said it was low and filled it and can't find a leak..... I am NOT very happy. Why would it be on the ground in the first place in a 2014??
