You’re killing me. Filled half my auxiliary tank with diesel at $3.69/gal. — actually a good price lately. Just under $100. Ugh.

Looks great. What a beast. And I’m not even going to mention that you went to the ‘other’ side

Enjoy it.

Don’t get out of your routine when hitching up to leave camp!
As a retired auto body tech, I worked on several hits like that over the years. That is one thing I like about the Andersen hitch, it is impossible to drop the fiver on the truck since it has to be raised to release it.

But that didn't stop me from killing the tailgate in my previous truck when I forgot to lower it and drove forward.

FR, I have 22K on the truck and the computer reads 14.8 overall and that includes towing my 9K camper which I get around 9 mpg. Indiana is relatively flat and the 3.73 rear end does a good job with towing. If I lived in a more mountainous region I'd have the 4.30's.

I remember when diesel was $4.35/gal here in Michigan. It'd fill the truck on friday after work, hook on to my enclosed 4 place snowmobile trailer, drive 270 miles up north where the snow was, ride for the weekend, 270 miles back home on sunday and have to fill it again at the tune of $240.

I have the 4.3 gears in mine. Does a great job in the hills. Here in lower AL I get around 14.5 mpg driving around and average 8.5 towing the FW. Saw 10.5 mpg while towing through the CO foothills last summer. I’ve got 20,000 miles on it so far.

How many gallons do you hold now combined? What do you figure your payload looks like now with the extra tank and it’s fuel?

Truck looks fantastic - congratulations and enjoy!
