Thanks TC. Yes I did. The 3.5 twin turbo. So far I've found out this truck has a PHD, and I'm still in kindergarten! So many features, gadgets, and technologies that I'm not used to. The Tundra was a great truck, but it was a Model A compared to this one. I need to find a 6 year old kid to show me how everything works. LOL!

No coincidence that a new JOF site team member gets a new truck. That salary comes in handy........

Isn't that the truth!! I had to have a 12 year old show me how to do stuff on my smartphone because it scared me to death. BTW, sorry about the engine question. If I paid attention to your sig I would have known that.

On another note

I replaced my OEM steering stabilizer in my '17 F-250 with a Fox unit. I was experiencing a little bumpsteer so hopefully this will improve it. It was everything I had laying on my back doing this as I'm not getting any younger. Whew!!

You will also notice that the majority of us are now towing with a Ford. I wonder what's up with that?

There was a note on my last pay stub, in red, that said 'get rid of that truck, and go buy a Ford TODAY!' I always do what I'm told...

How difficult is the install? I might go with something like this.

Hi Lee, it wasn't too bad, about 2 hours for me. Guys over at FTE say 30-40 minutes, lol. My thinking on this was why let an OEM stabilizer prematurely wear out the front end causing more issues and I was willing to spend the $163 that this costs on Amazon not to find out. Funny thing is after I removed the OEM unit it was just as firm as the Fox so we'll see after I test drive it tomorrow. I'm saving my OEM unit just in case. Biggest pains in the installation were getting the far bolt out of the OEM unit as Ford used red loctite and it was all my electric impact could handle. The other was compacting the Fox to line up to existing holes. I strongly recommend getting a Pitman arm puller to push out the tapered bolt where the OEM unit connects to the drag link. I bought one from Harbor Freight [$15] so that was an added expense. The firmness is adjustable on the Fox unit by adding air via a schrader valve. MY Fox unit came from the factory with 40 psi. I'll probably end up playing around with the psi depending on the performance of the unit as it sits now. You can also pre assemble the top of the tapered bolt that comes with the Fox. One other thing I decided to do is cut off the excess threads on the top of the tapered bolt that came with the Fox unit after I pre assembled it because it looked like it might have hit the radiator hose in a left turn if I didn't but I was laying on my back looking up so it was hard to judge. Mind you, I never had anything close to Death Wobble, just some bumpsteer and I think my paranoia got the best of me after reading about guys getting DW at various mileage on their trucks. Let me know if you have any more questions, Terry

Maybe someday there'll be a number before all the zeros on those checks.

∆∆∆Thanks Terry it sounds like it could get a little dicey for me with pitman armpullers and frozen bolts lol. Might just get my garage guy or nambarc to tackle this one.

Lol, if I can do it, anybody can! It would've been tons easier if the truck was up in the air.

Installed a new 8.4" radio with Sirius but no navigation radio. New bezel looks great an the difference in the back up camera between the original 5" radio an this 8.4" is remarkable. Hope to have phone paired up to it today an everything set up. So far the new OEM Sirius antenna works much better than the toad for an antenna Sirius sent me to use with their little radio

Ceramic Balancers - This is the first I have heard of these. Have you used them before? I have used balance beads before and they work okay... this looks better yet.. curious to your feedback on them?

Thanks,
Tony

First time for me. Seems to have pretty good reviews. Everything is working good for now, time will tell.

Moved from Scottsdale near 64th and Greenway to Phoenix Raceway. Got additional fob programmed by North Valley Locksmith, something the dealer was unable to accomplish in Grapevine a couple of weeks ago. 9.6 mpg pulling 6,000lb tt into 20-30 mph wind 80% of 948 mile trip. And I didn't have to burn premium, even though regular in the Phoenix area is $2.83 a gallon.
