Sorted out the WDH last Sunday. It was a nice day and aside from finding out that my scraper blades were in the bottom of my tool box where my wrench should have been (bled like a stuck pig) a little gauze and adhesive tape doubled the girth of my finger and allowed me to complete the task without much fuss.

Setup my WDH per the book since the dealer just sort of put it together and it wasn't even close to being right. After a trip to the CAT scales I replaced the 1000 lb spring bars with 1400 lb bars since the tongue weight was way more than expected.

Watched it sitting in my garage all washed up and vacuumed. Ordered air bags for the rear and a Magnaflow Exhaust cat back system for my Dodge Ram that my wife told me I could get for my Christmas gift.

Past weekend: Messed around with FIL's canoe and strapped it onto the rack with 2 bikes and 2 kayaks. Did about 80 mile round trip road test, up to 77mph, good to go. Next step is to get our own canoe and then wait for April - Long Key State Park!

Found out what the vibration in the frontend was... As the front axle shattered causing the entire front end to explode. Catastrophic failure...

I am sorry to hear this...
I had an 04 F250 PSD and the front axle broke. Mine was out of warranty and ran me $2500. I sure hope your warranty will cover this! Good luck!

Installed map flaps so it would pass Texas inspection. Mud flaps aren't required in NC where I purchased 5 min to install flaps....1 hour struggle with duel wheels on and off so I could get access.

Filled my fuel tank with 40 gallons of diesel. I'm just glad diesel hasn't gone up like gas has in the past week.

I hit all the grease points and changed the oil and filter today, and topped off the tank before the cold snap rolls into town tomorrow.

Got the cap installed and a sissy step because this thing is high up there. 5 degrees out and have 'getting out camping' on the brain now.

Fantastic fan add on for the pup when she's riding in the back this summer.
