I filled my truck with diesel and I really don't like to think about the cost because it could ruin my day.

Could be worse. Diesel is $1.49 / litre here which is about $5.60/ US gallon.

Ordered a SnugTop Super Sport canopy. Not a fan of toppers, but the DW complains that we can't go shopping with 2 kids and a dog in the back of the crew cab.

I installed 3 roof mounted bike carriers last night in the dark. I've really impressed with them and I'm going to share some details and photos soon!

Congratulations! How long will it be now before you trade it in for that brand new 3/4 ton diesel you've secretly had your eye on (complete with a new payment book)?

Loaded my quad for the first time in the back, oversized tires make for a fun fit!

We just signed the papers yesterday on our new 2013 Eagle 314BDS, so now we have another payment, but I really need to upgrade the Tow Vehicle. This may not happen for another year. I think the wife (Sandy) will realize that we need a bigger TV once we tow the new 314BDS for the first couple of trips.
With your help, I can make a case for a new TV this year. :excited:

Took it over to storage to get the hitch setup on this very rare February day over 50 degrees. That was when I found out I have a 2.5" receiver on the new truck. Ok, no big deal. Run home, and grab the adapter that has been in my odds-n-ends toolbox for years. Put it in, loosen the hitch head and move it to the lowest possible position. It's still way too high. I suppose I'm ordering a properly sized shank with enough drop now.

My F-250 has a 2.5in receiver so I ordered the Reese Titan shank. It's a beast. I think you can use it "up or down". I had to lengthen the safety chains about a foot because the Titan shank is longer.

I installed a BIG BAD MAX Wolo 619 horn in mine. Now those lane shifters will hear my roar!

Thought about shovelling snow off it *yet again*... then decided against it. Maybe tomorrow.
