Just dropped it off at the dealership for a recall. While I was there they asked if I wanted them to complete the state inspection? I guess I need to start driving the truck a little more ofter, as the registration expired last month!

Good looking rig. Do you mind if i reveal my ignorance and ask what the PCV reroute does? I am a new diesel owner. Thanks in advance.

Love that body style. I had a 14 and miss it in some ways.

The PCV as mentioned above keeps the oil from recirculating back through the intake manifold and prolongs the life of the Turbo and engine as a whole.

Bamaoffroad.com is where I got mine. Great customer service and fast free shipping. For yours get the 2012+ PCV reroute and go into it with some patience and time. It's easy and for $70-80 you can prolong the life.

No today, but last night...

Traded my 2012 Tundra Double Cab 4x4 4.6L 26.4 gal. tank for a brand new 2017 Tundra Crewmax Cab 4x4 5.7L 38 gal. tank!

Already put the OEM tow mirrors on it from the '12. Today I plan to put the AVS vent shades on. I also have the TRD sway bar kit and an A.R.E. color matched V-Series fiberglass cap on order.

Cheers [emoji482]

The one feature of my Tundra I wish I had...38 gallon tank! Very nice truck!

Yes! That was one of 3 reasons I upgraded. Other two were the bigger motor and bigger cab!

Dropped it off at the dealer for a 100,000 makeover. Fluid change on both differentials, transfer case, transmission, antifreeze, oil and filter, driveshaft lube, new iridium spark plugs, and lastly a 4-wheel alignment. That should maker her last a few more years!

Hauled the trash to the dump over the weekend. Wasn't a long trip, but it sure was nice being in my truck again!! She sits a bit more these days because DW's vehicle is a better daily driver, but I still love driving my truck, so I do it whenever I can. This week it'll get some more daily driver use because we're both moving in different directions all week! The upside: I get to drive my truck more; the downside: I don't get to drop my son off at school (her car has the kid seat). Might get to take the trailer out soon if I can get a reservation, and give the truck a nice workout!

Thought I'd be hauling some stuff back today after having to go to the big city (pop ~15,000 ) for my semiannual teeth cleaning, but it didn't work out. A friend told us about some bar stools for cheap at the indoor flea market, so I stopped to check them out. The local pub could use some replacements, and they lack the funding to buy new. Unfortunately the 6 stools weren't close to what was needed - they were only about 3 inches higher than a regular chair, so I drove home empty.

I always liked the looks of the Avalanche. Yeah, since my dream truck won't fit in the garage, I decided to save about $70,000, and spruce up the Toyota for a few more years.

Bought these

They are removable and I can use them to replace my box.
Also ordered the next round of Amsoil.

Owned it for 1 year 5 months and I rolled 51k on the clock.

Today I gave it a bath. Boy was it dirty. Couple days ago I changed the oil and replaced the fuel filters.

How do you like them so far? I've been toying with the idea of getting some of these for my truck.
