I picked mine up from the Diesel shop after having it towed there on Monday by GSRS.

Picked it up today. Bad Fuel Injection Control Module.

Diesels are expensive to maintain!

norty1.
Be sure to have your vehicle batteries checked. Low voltage makes the FICM (Fuel Injection Control Module) work harder and may lead to premature FICM failure.

This year, at 2,000 mi of our 8,000 mi trip, had to replace all 8 injectors; a large unplanned expense. I knew three injectors were marginal and hoped they'd last the whole trip. Nope. Just lasted the first part.

Smiled at her. She's not my daily driver and she was washed last weekend. So she is still nice and clean.

I've had a rattle in the front end of my truck for some time and I thought the idler arm had some play in it so I replaced it today. The replacement looked fairly easy based on YouTube videos but rust and the use of the wrong pickle fork really complicated things. After all that, I the rattle is still there.

Drove it to the store and bought a 12 pack of Miller High Life in bottles. My truck is dirty, but in spite of that, it can still do important work!
