Replaced the shocks, struts, and got an alignment. The Trailblazer is at 99k miles and since we live in pothole city I was not surprised by needing them done. Needed a new battery and an oil change too. It should make for a better towing experience this summer. I would rather have spent the money on something fun however.

I purchased the Ford Premium ESP: 6/125k. Bought it online, saved a bunch. Now I know I'll get at least 6 years out of my truck before I go hankering for a new one.

Just picked mine up from the Ford dealer today, all set and ready to tow for the summer (almost). They changed both cam phaser solenoids on the engine, replaced a cracked right side exhaust manifold, replaced leaking rear end pinion shaft seal, changed rear end oil, changed transfer case oil, repaired leaking hose connections to transmission cooler, and changed tranmission fluid and filter screen. 96,000 miles on the truck. Is that enough for one day? Still needs new brakes all around and the replacement of a leaking power steering hose. Thank god the big ticket items were covered by my extended warranty.

Freed up a stuck piston on my front caliper. Have one that is totally hooped on the rear, metal to metal. I replace 3 calipers a couple of years ago. I think this one is the one that wasn't replaced.
