Put it in the shop for a water pump, something I have changed myself numerous times on older gassers, but the Duramax is a different animal. You just about have to take the entire front end off the truck to get to it.

My brother put one like this on his truck. Very nice, but I think he said it was around $150-$175. Mine was $35 including the shipping.

Yay, the mud flaps arrived. When you spend this kind of money on a new ride, something small like FREE mud flaps make for some good will with the buyer. Even if there is the dealer's advertising on them. I see that all over with different dealer logos. My brother's dealer gave him his for free ( with their logo of course ). I called my dealer to ask if "maybe" that was supposed to happen & was just overlooked. Nope. I can have a pair for the rear only, with their logo for $100! I'll pass.

Also, we have two small dogs. Seems they like standing on the center arm rest so they can look out the windshield. My wife made this cover to protect the arm rest from their nails, and to give them a little more grip when I apply the brakes.

I took my new 2015 Silverado to the body shop to get the dent in the hood fixed where the car wash arm fell down on it while I was in Florida. Happened with 2000 miles on it. Probably be done today. Should have washed it by hand.

This happened the first day I was in florida. Truck was covered with road salt from driving down through the snow and ice. Pulled into car wash, it wasn't like the ones at home. The ones at home, you have to pull up on a raised platform with one wheel before the red light goes on and it tells you to stop, and the wash won't start until you do that.
This florida car wash, I pulled in (light saying pull forward), then light said stop (I stopped) but pull forward light stayed on. This confused me but I didn't move. Then back up light came on. All 3 lights were on simultaneously, pull forward, stop, and back up.
I saw arm coming down, put it in reverse, too late, it slammed into the hood. What a piece of junk claiming to be a car wash.

Almost ruined my trip.

Very sturdy setup. All the talk about payload, tires and towing ability (which are all important) but I have not seen discussions about stock hitches. I think some would be surprised. Just got my Curt C15302 Class V yesterday. Their very inexpensive and offer a lot more ability over a stock hitch...

I have a step for Buddy it works great, for getting in and out of the back of the truck
folds up and lays flat in the back of the truck.
I started the old Dodge up yesterday. for about 20 minutes, ( Only storage Insurance on it for the winter) I put a solar panel on it for the batteries seem to work good,
The only issue I had is when I plugged it into the cig lighter, the radio came on ( key not on) After market radio, used the same ground wire as the cig lighter. So I just make sure the radio is off. ( Weird)

Just ordered four new tires for the back of the truck.

I really wish I could put something other than 19.5 inch tires on this beast.

I could buy a small car for what it costs to replace them.

Only solace is that they usually last me 100K miles.
