Towed our new camper home, and after our brake controller crapped out on the way. I installed a new one when we got home.

I got the front windows tinted. I'll be honest. They didn't need to be tinted but they do look cool. It only cost me $18.00. Got the tint at Precutautotint.com. They sell the tint pre-cut for the specified vehicle. My neighbor is a Navy vet who used to put tint on the F18s. He did the install for me in about 30 minutes.

Towed the TT around the "40 mile loop" to test out the newly replaced friction cone on my Andersen. Works perfectly again.. The replacement procedure was simple and I've now got everything needed to remove, clean and replace the tapered shaft while traveling in the event it starts to bind on me again.

Washed it- twice. This was the first time it's been cleaned up (on the outside) in over a year. Looks like a different truck - and a different color - now.

I installed OEM chrome caps on my F-150 tow mirrors. Won't improve towing, but talk about instant gratification! Took ten minutes, looks terrific! 😀

This morning at 7 AM I rinsed off all the pollen and pine needles, wiped on a coat of Maguire's wax, and polished it off. Looks nice and shiny now, and the paint is protected, and best of all... I don't have to wash it again for a year or two! That's my system.

Only problem I had, was that halfway through polishing off the dried wax, my lower back gave out. I carefully finished the job, drove my "new" truck to the store and bought some medicine.

Merlot IS a muscle relaxer, doesn't it?

The rest of today I'll be reclining in the sun, reading "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", and sipping wine. And curing my back ailment.
