Installed the hitch and wiring in the new truck. Tip for you adding a 5th wheel to a GM 2500/3500, order the long base rails, all the bolts except two are done through the wheel well, save a lot of time.

Yesterday I washed off the pollen and dust, with water only and a soft brush. Shammied off to a nice shine. With the wax job I did last week, water still beads nicely on the finish.

I also dropped the rear suspension airbag pressure from towing PSI (30#) down to non-towing pressure (5#). Dropped the rear tires from 44# to 40#. Now I'll have a softer ride, which will be a nice change. I probably won't be towing again for months.

Great points. I opted for the B&W so no rails but this would have been helpful if I went that route.

Got the oil changed yesterday, The repair shop said that I did not need to change it. It was the cleanest oil he has ever seen from a diesel
Told it has been sitting all winter, will be changing it.
But that was nice to hear!

Had to stretch her legs a little. She's been sitting in the garage for 2 weeks. Since DW's new car rides nice and smooth, she's not a fan of the truck so it does more sitting than driving lately.

It felt good to be in my truck again.

Installed new front sway bar end links and rotated the tires. Also noticed that I have only put about 4K miles on it in the past year.

Finally did my intake gaskets and knock sensors.. runs like new again. Got new wheels and tires being delivered tomorrow. Hopefully I won't need to regear but we'll see. Wife wants me to buy a new Duramax but it's over kill for what we need.. but I think she has her eye on a bigger trailer lol..

Small stuff. Pulled TT out of its garage and set it up behind the car garage were I have installed 30 amp service. Disconnected the rig from the truck so I can have it serviced tomorrow, oil change, oil, fuel and (if needed) air cleaner filters. I was going to wash it, but it's snowing and we have five miles of dirt/mud road to traverse tomorrow.
