Drove it. It's been sitting for at least a month. So needing to go to town, 27 miles away, I gave it a bit of exercise, including activating the Pacbrake (recommended) on the 700' descent to the highway. Love this old truck.

Installed Air Lift 5000 Ultimate air springs. Took 10 hours. Several busted knuckles. More than a few cuts and scrapes. They estimate 2 hours to install. (very funny). Now that they are installed I think I will like them. Can't wait to tow with them.

Had a fuel regulator leak. Took to the dealer and had a "blue spring" upgrade kit added. Increase fuel pressure by 10 lbs.

Took it home and washed it, just before the rain started.

Washed, clay-bared, and waxed it. Ready to head out tomorrow morning.

Ordered a whole new set of rotors drum pads etc. After losing them the last time I drove it I decided to replace every component on the vehicle so I can go up to the mountains in a couple of weeks. I didn't order it but I will also be replacing the master cylinder and all the fluid. But I can pick that up at the local parts store.

Started adding the Firestone Ride-Rite airbag system. Should finish today providing the weather holds out after work.

May not need to stud it. Not all the 6.0's will require it. I know a customer that has 250k on his 6.0. Never deleted or studded. Sounds like a "bag of hammers" but it run's like a scalded dog.

Traded it in for a 2016 Ram 2500 6.7L diesel. New truck had to be ordered and should be here in 8 - 12 weeks.

Loved the Tundra, but our TT upgrades options were limited. Won't have to worry about that for much longer.

Last week I changed the upper and lower ball joints on both sides. While doing so I noticed a ripped caliper piston boot. I ordered new calipers and pads.

This evening I changed the drivers side caliper and pads as well as repacked the bearings.

Tomorrow is the passengers side.

Made an appointment to have a bad glow plug replaced. I certainly don't need it in this heat, but I have time to get it done and it will be needed this winter.

Just installed Firestone Ride-Rite Air Bags. Wont have chance to test them out under load until September.

Mike - Let me know what your thoughts are on the Firestones. I keep debating back and forth to get the Air Lifts or the Firestones.

Thanks,
Dan
