what does this tire size mean?

I'm looking into some new tires for my Jayco Select PUP. I came across the Maxxis M8008 ST Radial BS tire. The size is listed as ST205/75R-14C1 100 B . I know what most of this means except the C1 100 B. Is it the speed and load rating? I'm not used to seeing all the other stuff after the wheel diameter. Also, does anyone have any opinions on this tire or suggestions on others?

Maxxis seem to get the best reviews on these forums in regards to ST trailer tires. Not sure what the other numbers mean.

Read through the first couple paragraphs and then see the Load tables below
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tire_code

100 may be load rating 1,800lbs

Best regards,
Doug

Not really sure what all the extra numbers are, other than the "C", that should be the load range. Doug is onto it with the link, all you really need though, is the load range.
Maxxis tires do seem to be getting very good reviews, actually just put a set on our trailer.

I think that the 100 B has to do with the Uniform Tire Quality Rating, which includes a speed rating. Not exactly sure, but the 100 probably is the speed rating, and the B is the wear longevity rating. As to the C1 after the rim size, that should indicate a C load rating, but don't know what the 1 is for. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the advice, everyone. I've got a pair of Maxxis on order. I orderd a pair of Kumho 857s and was told by Tire Rack that they were a 75 profile tire, but when they arrived I immediately noticed they were taller. When I contacted them to send them back for a refund they said the tire was a 80 or 85 profile (I can't remember which). Still, they said it was only about a half inch to 1 inch difference and that I should see if they fit. Needless to say they didn't. I couldn't even get them in the wheel well. Well, they tried to make me pay for return shipping, and that wasn't going to happen since the purchase was under false information on their part. UPS picked them up from my door the next day, and my Maxxis should be here in a day or so. I was looking forward to that D load rating, but I'll take Cs since that's what was on my PUP before.
