I ordered them and will get them installed on Friday. I didn't go for the onboard compressor at this time (due to cost) and like others have said it is just for convenience. I took before pics with my trailer and will post after pics as well.

Well I ended up with the firestone airbags and got to try them out last weekend with the camper. I towed it about 100 miles to the campsite with 35 psi. It did great. The ride was much better as was cornering, etc. I would highly recommend them for someone in my situation and when I was done towing I just reduced them and I'm ready to go.

Just installed the Air Lift Loadlifter5000 air bags over the weekend. I have to say, they are incredible. Not the easiest things to install. I did mine in the driveway WITHOUT A LIFT! But I do like them...alot.

They work! Took the camper on my annual fishing trip last weekend and towed it about 250 miles round trip. The Tahoe barely squats with the camper hooked up and equipment in the back. The wife says with out the camper, it rides like a "lumber wagon", but it is (or at least is used as) a truck. If I wanted a pleasant ride, id buy a cadillac i guess.

The install wasnt as easy as the fronts, but after several trys, and some lube to help slide them in, they work. Ill try to upload a pic hooked up. Have a great day!
