'13 X23B fendor flew off on highway

Took my X23B on my first trip out of state (9mpg, won't be doing that again soon), and while on the highway and being overtaken by a semi truck my left fendor cracked and flew off camper to be forever lost. Can these things not be driven at 70mph?

Anyone else seen quality problems with the fendors? I like my Jayco, but after having used it for a few years now I have been noticing quality problems. Little things here and there. Poor laminate layered floor construction, fendors, joints, blinds, slideout motor breaking... etc, etc. And it is only a 2013!

Anyways, tiny rant, anyone know where a fendor can be picked up on the cheap? Or even how to get one at all?

Oh and the entertainment center sometimes works sometimes doesn't, flashes on and off. Forgot about that one.

Generally, no. Most ST tires are rated for 65MPH max. Sustained speeds over that can lead to blowouts.

Your issues sound about par for a 5 year old lightweight TT. Remember that your unit sustains hurricane force winds and earthquake force vibrations every time you take it down the highway. Out '11 19H has its share of regular maintenance issues, but none that I would consider unusual for the age.

X2 on the 100 kph max... slow down you will also get better mileage.

I have had to replace one fender. Ours is a 2013 model. However, we have been coast to coast a couple of times and to Alaska once. So lots of miles. I think we have to expect some of this stuff due to rough roads etc. Other than the fender I have had no repairs.

We pull our 2012 X23B everywhere, No issues at all, however, I am very good about maintenance and checking things over. You may have already had damage to the fender, and pressure differential when the semi passing you may have allowed the crack to migrate, the wind from driving 70 mph, caught the crack and tore it the rest of the way.

As for mpg, the faster you drive the worse the mpg. I usually cruise around 60 mph.

I have noticed in the last year or so, I have had to go through and recaulk a lot of seams, and I have been checking for loose items.
