2006 26L Bunk End problem

The bunk end on my 26L is separating from the trailer. The plastic that is sewn into the canvas and screwed into the trailer body is cracking and falling apart. Has anyone replaced just this plastic piece? And how would I go about ordering it, I don't really know what to call it. I appreciate any help. I have a family camping trip scheduled in 3 weeks and I need to get this done fast.

Thanks

I hate to tell you this but there is no easy fix to this one. Other than sending your tent ends back to Jayco and having them sew new ones in you might have them send you 2 new plastic strips and you having it done locally.

Man that doesn't sound like a quick fix problem. Well I guess I gotta do it. What's the best way to get ahold of Jayco to get that part ordered? I looked online and it looks as though I have to submit a message to them. I'd like to get this ordered and delivered asap, so I can get it sewn locally. Is there a number I can call or another route I can go? Thanks

Now this is what I've done to hold that split together quite well for the short term. Mr. Grip strips are 3/4"x2" and in conjunction with a fender washer it will hold it tight. If you can't find this product " Mr. Grip" PM me and I'll buy a package or two ( 10 per pkg.) and mail it out to you ASAP.

Easy to bend for those upper corners and that's where mine separated.

Thanks. I found some of those locally. They may help me at least get through to go on our trip.
