2013 X23B dinette table....

Hey gang,

I see where Jayco has changed the dinette table base from the one we have on our 2013 X23B. The base we have is the one where the base is more like a scissor type where you have to push in the ends to collapse the base. Now I see where Jayco has changed the table base mechanism. It looks like it goes down. To me and my DW, since we are up there in years, this seems to be a better way to close the table. Now we have to really horse the table to get it in the storing position. It is big and cumbersome to say the least.

Does anyone have the new base on their table and tell me how it operates? I'm thinking of contacting Jayco to see if I could get a replacement base.

I played with one at the camping show this past winter (has winter gone away yet??). I do not recall setting it up as any easier. What I do recall was I thought it felt heavier than the 2012 table.

We don't have any issues with ours. We did buy an additional table for outside the camper so we don't have to mess with taking it in and out.
