23b low point drains

I have located the freshwater tank drain, but aren't there two more drains, one for the hot water line and one for the cold water line? If so where are they to be found? I'm assuming they are located underneath. Again, this is for a 23b. Ours is a 2013 if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance.

Not sure what you're thinking here. My 23b has a freshwater low point drain. There are no other low point drains other than the gray and black tank valves. For the hot water heater, there is the relief valve on the tank but that should never be opened if the water heater is inservice. I could be wrong but they're the only drains I am aware of.

With the exception of pop-ups I have never seen a trailer camper that did not have low point drains for the plumbing lines AND fresh water drains. The problem becomes one of finding where they are hidden. Jayco (and all manufacturers for that matter) seem to enjoy hiding them. As most people find out the "Owners Manual" (what a joke) is so generic it will not show where anything is located.

Now let's find your drains. Look all around underneath the trailer. There will be a pair of tubes sticking down a couple of inches. They are typically red and blue for the hot and cold lines. The valves are typically the "T" type. They pull up to open and push down to close. They will be located directly above these tubes. This could be under a sink, near the water heater, behind a panel in a cabinet or in one of the storage compartments.

These drains MUST exist as draining the fresh water tank only will not accomplish the winterization task. Keep looking......they ARE there somewhere.

Mine are located below the bottom drawer in my kitchen...., have to remove the drawer to see them.

Yes.....exactly where they were. They were behind the panel (looking through the little square hole) right at floor level.

Thanks for the responses!!

Our X23B has been gone for a few months now but I seem to recall they were in the compartment where the water pump was. Small door maybe left of the fridge.

That's not a low point drain though. That compartment has the bypass valves. The hot water heater has a plastic plug for draining located on the tank.

They are inside. Open the bathroom cabinet door. At the bottom there is a small hole to reach your hand in. There are two pop top pull tabs. Pull them up to open, push down to close. I removed that little panel so I can store my bathroom chemicals there and get to the valves a bit easier.

Stand corrected. Checked this morning and after some digging found them. Thanks. Learn something everyday.
