23J water pump location
I winterized my 2012 23J for the first time yesterday. I had a heck of a time finding the water pump...it is under the couch and can only be accessed by moving out the slide. Once I did that the process for pumping RV anti-freeze was easy. On a better note, the hot water heater by-pass was easy.

Seems odd to install the water pump on a moveable object. Mine is under the dinette for my 2011.

Sounds like the pump was mounted to the floor but was more easily accessable by moving the slide.

yep...mounted to the floor. I found it by turning on the pump and listening for the sound...considered removing the sofa bed above it before I thought to move out the slide.

I'm a month late to this winterize process, but I live it N Florida so I doesn't freeze until January (although last night it dip to freezingish). I've not done this before, but I've been watching Youtube, so now I'm an expert Like you I found the water pump under the couch, but it had the clear tube coming out, is there where you put the RV anti-freeze? Also the water heater looks pretty easy to close.
Any other tips?

YouTube is great isn't it. I like seeing it done, usually easier once you see it.
Don't forget to drain you hot water tank in addition to by-passing it so you use less anit-freeze.
Best regards,
Doug

Doug, yes, I've done that and I see where to do the by-pass, found a great diagram here somewhere that made it seem simple. Still debating IF I need to winterize yet. I'm at least going to wait another week until the first of the year. We are going snow skiing in UT for a week (flying, not in in the HTT). No chance of freezing here for the near future. We have reservations for Presidents weekend, I'm trying to figure out if I can get by with just some pink stuff in the P traps, and the gray/black tanks?
