Bal Levelers on X23B?
Has anyone used the BAL levelers on the X23B? I have one and was thinking of purchasing a second for the second wheel. I know they will fit, but not sure if the trailer is too heavy as they are designed for the pop up trailers.

Going from a popup, I had a BAL leveler, but just decided to get the leveling blocks at Walmart instead. Much lighter and easier to use. I'd hate to carry the weight of 2 BAL levelers around, and have to turn them both to lift one side...It's bad enough turning one BAL leveler in the Summer heat... That said, I think 2 would work from a weight perspective, since the weight will be distributed between both levelers.

X2
I had one and seriously considered getting a second one, then realized it would be a pain to use two...plus Trailer is pretty heavy for them. Unlike a popup, I think you would get tired wrenching on it now.
I decided to make my own Leveling block out of 2x10's that I just drive up on. Height increases incrementally as I drive up on it.
Looks like this pic, thanks to the poster over at forestriverforums for posting:
And I must say, it works like a charm.

I did a similar thing with the wood, but I used 2x8's and I didn't attach them to make it easier to store away in my vehicle.

that's a good idea. I may do that next time around. For now I just throw it in the bed of the truck.

What length is each section? Do you run both tires on same level?

Lot's of DIY plans on the Web.

Yes, I back up on it. Sometimes I get one wheel on, sometimes both depending on the lift needed to make things Level. What I find is one wheel sits on one block, the one in front of it sits on the lower level or directly on the ground. If I don't have enough height, I have to move to somewhere else on the site but with 4.5" of max lift it works great if you do a pre inspection of the area where you want to park.
