Bed Canvas Cleaning
2014 Hybrid ..... is it best to clean the canvas of the beds in the spring or fall before storage (michigan) ??.... also what products work best for cleaning ... does anyone apply a water sealer to the canvas after cleaning ??

Generally there is no real need to clean them. I only clean mine when they get really dirty. We've had one hybrid for 10 years, and our current one for 3 seasons and have never had to do anything special with the canvas ends except treat the bed wall seals.
Keep in mind that it's vinyl covered canvas so they don't need any water resistant treatment. On the vinyl surfaces you can use soap and water, or even something stronger for really bad stains. Just watch that the canvas under the screens doesn't get a lot of soapy water on them. Even it it does you can spray waterproofing for canvas on them. You can also put seam sealer on the seams if you think they are losing their water proofing.
We were just in Gatlinburg, TN about 2 weeks ago. It rained really hard one day and the leaves from the trees left some black crap on the vinyl. I had to use Awesome Orange from the $ store to get it off.

Clean it in the fall so it does not stain from the gunk on it.. do not ever use dish soap.

I clean them when ever they need it. I prefer to do a deep clean in the fall, then in the spring everything is ready to go.
I wash them with a bucket of water with Dawn dish soap, followed by a good rinse. Nothing else

IF it gets on the side of the RV it can soften the paint and cause it to come off...

From dish soap? Never heard that one before, and I've owned trailers for the better part of the last 25 years. And never had a problem when I did use dish soap. Usually when I wash a trailer I use car wash, but many times I've used harsher products to get off specific types of stains.

Don't believe everything you read on the Internet. Experience is the best teacher. I've been painting cars, restoring paint, and restoring cars since I was 16. I've worked with straight lacquer, straight enamel, acrylic lacquer and enamel, and base coat/coat. You can pour gasoline on acrylic urethane and not do any damage. The only thing dish soap does is removes wax more quickly. It does not soften paint.

My ends have been out for awhile while parked next to the house. They seem to be getting dirty, almost moldy like on the outside. Was thinking of using diluted bleach and water. But maybe I should just use soap and water first to see if that does the trick. Butting it up for the winter soon.

Don't use bleach on them. Try the soap and water first. Generally it's best the keep the ends closed up when not camping. The bunk ends aren't made for long term use.

Try using Simple Green.....You can use it straight or diluted and it is safe for everything and biodegradable.
