How do I remove black spots on inside bed canvas

There are a few companies that make a mold and mildew remover. The last time we needed it, I think it was called Starbrite, and got it at a marine supply store. Be cautious with the stuff, as the main ingredient is BLEACH. Remove the mattress first, and don't get it on anything you don't want spotty. The instructions were to spray on, let set for a few minutes, then wipe off with a sponge with clean water. Just be careful with it. Good luck.

I found a good one on Amazon. Called "iosso" mold and mildew cleaner. It did a remarkable job on our 19 year old pop up canvas last spring when I cleaned it up to sell. If I ever have a problem with my 17z I'll get another jar for sure.

I don't have mold or mildew stains, but rather leaf stains. I tried some soapy water; it removed some of the discoloration, but not all of it.

I used the same stuff in powder form (mix with water) and it worked well. I used it on the outside of the tent ends (mainly top side to remove sap, droppings, etc). I didn't try it on the inside walls of the tent ends.

Been there...done that....fixed it.

Spray WELL with undiluted white vinegar to kill the mold spores.

Let the area dry completely, then dry brush to remove as much of the residue as possible.

Follow by cleaning the area with an OXYGEN bleach (e.g., "Oxy-Clean"--mixing & application directions are on the container).

Assuming the canvas was totally dry when you closed the bed-end (and no sneaky little bits of material were sticking out), you probably ought to check the seal, too.

I'm trying that one this week, have a few areas that have been nothing but problems.

As a guy who has to deal with mold & mildew in walk in coolers for food, I'd actually recommend a hydrogen peroxide based cleaner or a simple solution with water and hydrogen peroxide. The trouble with bleach solutions and cleaners is while great sanitizers, they don't always kill the mold spores and you can get recurring "zombie mold". Treat it like a bleach solution, but it works great! We've had no issues since using it on bunk ends and awning.
