black tank snafoo update

ok....the rv store is closed until Tuesday... I left a very stern and concise Voicemail... we unhooked the camper and went to the dump station. OMG... gross.... we backfilled it several times... and still, the tank was full... each time we would get more debris (for lack of better term). we went in the trailer and you could see solid waste in the toliet. the clogam was close to the bowl.. we flushed it with fresh water nothing... finally we got a stick and tried to unclog it... with the next back flush it released and I cannot tell you how gross it was... yuck......... I am furious b/c I paid for a 60 point inspection... 3 of them being grey tank, black tank and toilet.. none if these were operational or flushed/emptied... gross .. we also discovered the fuses on my battery were blown, therefore no charge was being. delivered to the battery that must be charged... so... do I drop it off st the dealership on Monday with a note to call me? what would be a reasonable monetary adjustment for this fiasco? I paid for a service that was not performed correctly.... I am livid.... what else did they skimp on?

Print off the email trail on this forum and give it to the dealer.... you have reasonable cause for a 100% refund on the inspection. Dont threaten "small claims court" unless as a last resort.

How much did you pay for the inspection?

They probably skimped on just about the entire inspection! The toilet, tanks, and battery would be 3 of the main items to be inspected, and they didn't! Just my 2 cents on the matter, but I would be very upset as well!

I agree, I have to wonder if anything was inspected. Even though you are understandably upset, calmer heads usually prevail in these situations. Try to talk to the owner or a manager and explain exactly what you received as opposed to what was promised. Calmly tell them tanks clogged and full of waste are not acceptable. Could be some unhappy or incompetent service guy dropped the ball and management has no clue about it.. Hopefully they will make things right and give at least a partial reimbursement for the supposed "inspection".
