Angry Black water prank??

I am super frustrated right now and need some advice. Our TT is stored at the dealer where we bought it. We had it in service recently due to a leak. During that service, something hit the slide side of our 23B and left marks that I couldn't get out with a good scrub. I called it to the attention of the dealership and service and asked that they address the issue. Without much of a fuss, they called and said the marks were removed. We are getting ready to go on our last trip of the season before winterizing and storing. For some odd reason, I was drawn to check the levels on the panel. Everything checked out ok except for the black level - it said it was full - 4 dots. I know there are issues with the black level gages - even though mine is a '12. I thought I better check this out the only way to be certain. Opened the toilet and saw it was full to the top of the tank. I know for certain I emptied my tank 2 weeks ago at the end of our last trip. Is this some kind of prank to fill a customers black water tank? Am I dilusional? I need to call the dealership in the morning but am looking for advice at any level. Thanks in advance.

I would probably ignore it and find a new storage facility. This isn't the kind of service I'ld tolerate.

I'm more curious on how your RV dealership responds to your phone call

I have filled my blank tank with water and soap on occasions soaking overnight, let it slosh around on the way to the CG, and then dump it upon arriving at the CG.

You mentioned the TT was in service recently for "a leak", what kind of leak?

Bob

agrree, if it was a black water leeak, or even a grey water leak, they may have filled to the top to see if it would hold. they may have forgotten to dump it after it pass the test.

Hi Bob and Tx_Arvee - I had the TT in twice. The first time was for the leak. The second time was more recently for big marks on teh side of the trailer where some thing had hit it. I just got off the phone with the dealership and they denied any possibility of my black tank being filled while in their care. He asked if I possibly made a mistake while dumping last time. My wife was standing right next to me and I asked her if I dumped at least half of the black the last time we were camping and she agreed. I actually got stuff all over my pants - that's how I remember clearly. Now my black tank is full to the top?? Looked with a flash light to make sure.

Clubhouse, I am taking your advice and switching facilities. I don't feel I have any level of trust with Burlington RV any longer and I will tell anyone that.

I store my camper near Burlington RV indoors for a fantastic price. I am not sure if there are accepting new customers but you are welcome to PM me and I can send off an email if you'd like.

If you are down here in Albany at all, avoid Albany RV at all costs! Their service center is horrible! I still have a list of items that they were supposed to fix on ours when we bought it and they never did, even though they had it in storage all winter. Won't even discuss the fiasco of picking it up when we bought it. Never again! If I buy another jayco, I might buy it from them if the price is right, but I won't even let them touch it!

It sounds like they tested it and didn't empty it and can't man up to forgetting about doing it.
