brand new 2014 x20E Fair Offer?

Anyone have an opinion on what to offer on a brand new 2014 X20E? It has value package and power, grill etc. MSRP is at 25K with destination.

Get a qoute from RVDirect and use that price as a starting point in your negotiations. They should get within a few hundred of the RVdirect price.

We bought our X18D local and used the qoute from RVD. They got within $500 and I didn't have to travel to pick it up. They also threw in the WDH which would have cost me the $500.

Good luck and happy shopping.

We just picked up a 2015 X23B and paid $19,600 for it. Ours also has the value pack and power, grill, etc. If they are coming out witht he 2015 models, I'd think you could get a better price on the 2014 "left overs"...gvn71 had a gread suggestions to start with RVDirect and use their price as a starting point. You may also want to check other dealers within a 150 mile radius and see if they have the same model. Find out what they're "best price" is, and use that as well for negotiating.

Good luck with the price dickering

Jayh, first off it seems that $1,765 is a little high for a "destination" charge. I am assuming that you live in Plano, TX? So it is a bit of a trip from IN. I would go with gvn71's & mtn bikers suggestion and get prices from other RV dealers. The MSRP for the X20E is $23,200 (via Jayco website) My wife and I just purchased a 2014 X23B for $18,500 +$200 for dest. charge (23% off of MSRP) here in Michigan. The MSRP for this (with power, value & grill) was $24,100.

I don't know what you have for a TV but the X23B is worth the extra money. Just my $0.02 worth.

Hope this helps!

Totally agree. We looked at the X20E also, it is just the two of us, and the 20 foot model would have been fine for us. We decided on the X23B for two reasons. First the price was about the same, and second - the counterspace. The X20E simply doesn't have anywhere to put a crock pot, or do meal prep. I used to struggle with that issue with the popup and didn't want to do it again with the hybrid.

My bottleneck is that my driveway is max at 23.5 feet.

There are deals around but take some digging. Just finishing up a deal on the 2014 23b with power package for 16,500. But I have a 5 hour drive to get it. I think he had one other one left, but not sure about the 20e.

From internet forum chatter over the past few years, it seems people are getting around 25-30% off MSRP. Getting a quote from RVW is a great idea - certainly a bargaining chip when talking to a local dealer.

$16,500 for a X23B -- wow! Hook it up and tow it like you stole it.
