Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new hybrid. I have a buddy with a hybrid and he has the covers that go over the tent ends to help retain warmth/cool and uses fans in the bunk areas to reduce condensation. He has camped with it down in the 20`s in relative comfort. -Lee

Jaisen

We also live in Ontario and just purchased a hybrid (17Z). Moving up from a tent trailer. I looks like to getting out until May with the snow still around. We are excited since we booked Bon Echo in July. Enjoy your new trailer.

As the weather warms there will be a lot of first trips. Good memories start then.

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum Jaisen! Nice that you have some c/g's booked already. Waiting to take the maiden voyage is about as tough as waiting to pick up a new Jayco. Congrats on your new tt!

Thanks all for the warm welcomes !!!!
We were down around Sandbanks yesterday (April 23) and there were people already camping there !!!!! More power to them.
Hey Berts, we are also booked in at BonEcho but on the May long weekend, havent been there yet, should be great.
We pick her up tomorrow from the dealer !!!!!!
A little nervous about the whole backing her up thing as its a wee bit bigger than the ten trailer but CANT WAIT !!!!!!!
Time to make family memories !!!!

Lee,

My sister has an older Jayco 23B and may be interested in the covers you mentioned, do you have a brand name or link for these covers?

Thanks........ Bob

We bought ours last September from Sicard RV in Smithville, Ontario. We got out twice yet before the season ended, but only for 2 night intervals.

We have Awenda PP and Alogonquin - Mew Lake PP booked. We also booked a long weekend at Letchworth S.P. in New York. Can't wait to get out there and start using our trailer. I think I'm even more excited then the kids, but they ask every day if we can go camping.

I`m not sure the exact brand name he has, I`ll find out. But here`s what many folks use, Pop up gizmos:

we recently added pop gizmos to our 23 b have only used them 2 weekends but think they will help as the bunk ends can get rather warm during hot summer days. They also help to darken the ends in the early mornings. We also purchsed have not used them yet on an outing auto sunshades and zipped them in between the screen and canvas and we think this will also help with warmth, cooling, and they will help darken as well from early morning sun. We bought the sunshades with the bubble insulation and foil on both sides.
