Chock blocks

I'm looking for chock blocks for a 2009 23B that I will bring home in a couple weeks.

Will these work? They make a small and large size and I'm not sure which one to get since I get see my camper.

http://www.amazon.com/Camco-44652-Sm...5042766&sr=8-7

Large size fits tires 26-30" in diameter with spacing of 3 1/2-5 1/2". Small size fits tires 26-30" in diameter with spacing of 1 1/2-3 1/2".

Welcome to the JOF, tsduke03. That block should work but if you don't want to pay that much, you can pick up a set of chocks at Walmart for about $10.

Are you talking more like a standard wheel chock?

http://www.amazon.com/Camco-44472-Wh...5043485&sr=8-4

If so, will it be hard to block on uneven ground with level wood/blocks under the wheels?

Welcome! If you get a sec come on over to the new member forum and introduce yourself!

I have this one for my 26BH -- Wheel Stop

I personally think it works really well to reduce rocking. For the tire chocks I just use a couple pieces of split firewood.

If you want to go up a level, the BAL wheel stops I understand are pretty good.

Brain fart. I meant to type chocks. Yeah, like standard wheel chocks.

p.s. They sell the ones Terry posted at Walmart also.

Yea, that's what I'm looking at. Can I assume they will fit? Will my tires be large enough? Space enough?

The larger one (44622) fits mine just fine so I would assume it would fit yours as well. I find just one does the trick, but I know some folks like to have one on each side.

Consider the BAL X chock. Had mine for 3 years now and they are a well made product.

The one thing I didn't think I would like on the BAL is it appears you have to use a wrench to tighten them? Is that right? I do like the simple handle on the Camco.

Yes you have to use a reversible ratchet wrench which is provided with each X chock. But it is very easy to set up.
