Cover options for ends on X23B

Anyone use tarps or some other means to protect the flip out ends on an X23B? If so, what tarp size do you use? My 13 is showing wear, especially where it sits against the center support bar. My ends are almost always open all season long because we mostly use it at a seasonal camping spot. I had bought tarps but they were way to small. Any suggestions or experience in protecting the ends would be appreciated. Thanks!

When we had our PUP we had covers made to fit by pop up gizmo. They were great. We purchased the high wind covers and had no issues. Even after 6 yrs they still looked great. Well worth the money.

PopupGizmos

Bob who started the company is a great guy and will answer any questions you may have.

Another nod to PUG's. Other folks use tarps. Leaving the tents up long term will be pretty hard on them and I would expect a couple of years would just about do them in.

Even with the PUGs, you've already shortened the life of your tents. I'd recommend closing the bunk ends when not in use. As I recall, there is something in the manual that says they are not intended for long term use.

I agree with Doc. It probably takes less time to fold up the bunk ends than it does to install/uninstall the pugs....

Thanks, I guess I'll just have to convince the wife to let me put the ends up when we are not there. I think that is the best option, to just fold up the ends when we aren't using it. I can't imagine what it would cost to replace the canvas for these things.

I hope so, just 1 call to the local dealer for the price of one plus the install will send anyone into cardiac arrest. When not in use mine never see the light of day.
