Dexter torque flex axles

How do I jack my 23B up for maintenance? Do the hub/brake assembly need to be held in place so it doesn't drop down?
Neither Dexter or Jayco really address this in their manuals.
Just looking at it seems to be a two jack job.

It is fairly easy to jack up your 23B. I do one of two things. Place a jack on the FRAME right in front of the forward axle assembly or just rear of the rear axle assembly. DO NOT place the jack under the axle. Another option is to purchase a device called a Trailer-Aid. It is a ramp, that you drive the “good” wheel up on and this lifts the other wheel off the ground giving you full access for maintenance.

The dealer told me that the ramp method does not work with the torque suspension, due to the lack of an equalizer.

Our X23B was a '12 and I used my Lynx blocks ("legos") to lift a tire off the ground. Never had to change a tire but that's how I would have done it. If you want to service the bearings or brakes then a jack might make more sense as you could get to both wheels on a side at the same time. But to change a tire on the roadside - the ramp. JMHO Check it out by backing up onto a gentle curb, I discovered this worked when backing into the driveway and was a little to one side.

I use the ramp at home all the time. Mine is a homemade one I use to level my HTT while I am at home (a true 6” of lift, and it still is not enough). I just drive partially onto it and the other wheel is off the ground.

Ok, good I just took the dealer at his word. 6" ramp comin up!

as I recall, I didn't have to build a 6" stack. I think I used 3 lynx blocks and that would lift the tire a couple of inches off the ground.

I only use a 6" ramp because I need that much just to level out my HTT when I am at home. The wheel is definitely a few inches off the ground, when I drive up on it.

Vey important advice, even for leaf spring style axles. Many axle tubes don't have a very robust wall thickness and can be compromised under some lifting conditions.
