Does Shore Power charge the battery?

Hello again,

I have tried finding the answer to this but can't seem to locate a solution.

When you plug your camper into shore power. does the shore power charge the camper battery?

Thanks!

Bob

As stated, yes......, that's one of the functions of the converter/charger installed in your HTT.

Only if the battery is not disconnected, I.e. the battery disconnect must be in the ON position.

Some RVs have standard converters that put out about 13.6 VDC and others have the more expensive multi-stage converters that have 3 or sometimes 4 modes. Bulk charge at a higher voltage, normal charge, and float mode.
