Eternabond Tape

Has anyone used Eternabond Tape to seal the roof seams, around vent, etc? How well does it work? How long does it last. Do you like the product? Thanks.

Eternabond Tape

Yes, I have used it on two rigs. I am in the process of doing my current rig now. I have done the front and back seams and will start on the roof openings soon. Easy to work with. I bought the 6 and the 4 inch tape and a spray bottle of cleaner.

I will post some pictures when I am able.Click image for larger version

Yup, works GREAT. The key is to clean the area well and roll the tape well. It will outlast your trailer. If it were me, I would replace the rubber roof with wide Eternabond tape...

I like it!

One tip, do NOT stretch it, if you do it will not stick for long. Installed correctly, it sticks like grim death.

Great product, should outlast your TT's rubber roofing material.

Here is my Enternabond Sealer Tape roof seam and slide project:

I'll throw in another plug. Our old Kiwi hybrid, when it was about 7 years old, developed a small seam leak on the front of the roof where is meets the curved aluminum panel. After pulling it up and drying it out, I sealed it with Eternbond tape. Wow! We traded it when it was 10 years old but I'm convinced that the repair will last longer than the trailer will be in service.

I have it on my slide out. My dad has it on the side edges of his Class C. It works great as far as I can tell! If I ever have another roof problem, it will be my first choice for repair. As soon as my warranty runs out, I'll probably get up on the roof and use it seal in some potential trouble spots.
