Fresh Water Monitor sensor

Getting ready to leave on an extended trip in our 2012 X17Z and I noticed that my fresh water tank monitor reads "Empty" even though I filled up the tank to overflow when flushing the tank after sanitizing the system. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Look under the unit first at the tank. Check to see if all the connections are in tact. The sensors are wired and mounted in the rear facing side on mine.

Make sure you have 12V power too.

Unfortunately the RV industry still relies on rudimentary sensors from the 60's.

Thanks Boss Wagon

Boss Wagon,

Thanks for the reply. Got under the X17 today and discovered that one of the wires was broken. I believe it was a ground wire. It was the white wire which away from he three connections/sensors going into the tank. Spliced a bit of wire in and all fixed. Thanks again.
