Giant hole in new Jayco

Been working the "bugs out" and stocking/tweaking the new Jayco in the driveway and thats a good thing because I just found a giant hole in the canvas on the large bed side its about as big as a football...have an appointment scheduled for 2 weeks out for repair, its nice having a warranty!! I took a look at it and repair looks fairly complicated as it a major seal where the canvas transitions to the metal part in the upper corner.

Just curious if anyone else has experienced this or maybe an isolated incident?

Have not heard of it.

New unit, did the dealer not open the bunk ends.during the pdi? Something that big should have been noticable.

I agree since it was "football" size, how could you miss it?

I would say that it is an isolated incident..

We had a tiny pinhole in one of our bunk ends. We didn't even notice it, but the dealer put it on the walk thru list. They replaced the whole canvas. Easy fix but they had to order it.
