Has anyone put 30 pound propane tanks on a 19H

I was just curious if anyone has put 30 tanks on the hybrids? I haven't measured the height to bed to see if it would fit yet. Of course that's another 20 lbs, plus the weight of the bigger tanks on your trailer tongue.

You'll be able to do it. I went out and measured 9.25" from the top of the 20 pound tank ring to the underside of the bunk end on my 23B. The dimension from the tank tray to the bunk end is 27". The white plastic cover is off right now so I couldn't give a dimension from the top of the plastic cover to the bunk and my cover is only tall enough for 20 pounders...you'd have to get a new cover for the 30 pounders as they are 6 inches taller.

Found this chart on google images and it says a 30 pounder is 23.75" tall.

When we bought the X17Z back in 2012, about 1/2 of the units on the lot had one 30lb propane bottle rather than two 20lb bottles. So, they should fit with no issues.

Thank you for the info folks.

Do you think the increase in tongue weight will be a negative factor if I get 2 30 lbers? 20 more pounds of propane when full, plus about 11 lbs from the bigger bottles, then the larger cover, maybe another 5 lbs. Like 35 or so lbs more. I wouldn't think so, but what do you think?

I generally don't lose any sleep over such things.

More tongue weight = LESS sway.

I figured that Seann45, but I thought I'd ask anyway. Thanks
