I have one mounted on my TV that I use for backing up and getting ball/hitch aligned. It's set up to display only when the TV tranny is in reverse. The same unit could probably be mounted to the rear of a hybrid and wired to be only on when the TV tranny is in reverse, always on when the TV is on (park, drive or reverse) or on all the time, either powered by the TV or TT battery.
The unit is made by Peak, has a 3.5" display and cost $90 (actually $80 with the $10 rebate).
