Help, my AC is leaking inside

This past weekend I was beach camping so our camper was in full sun for 14 hours. I put the AC on and it ran for about 2 hours before I noticed it was leaking on the inside thru the unit. I've never had this issue before as it's always drained off the roof and down the roof drains. I got up on the roof and removed the cover but can't seem to find any clogged areas.

Any idea?

Remove the inside cover and check the 4 hold-down bolts. They should be snug but not tight. They compress a rubber gasket that seals the unit to the roof and will loosen over time.

The only times my roof unit has leaked on me is when I let those four gasket adjustments described above get too loose.

Another time was during the night when the humidity was real bad and things started freezing up inside the air conditioner.

After everything thawed out the dripping stopped...

Since my unit is a POPUP and not all that air tight I think freezing up over nite with the air conditoner on all the time is somewhat common...

I have also heard one should have a fan blowing around in the trailer on those high humid nites...

I also always adjust the stablizer jacks to give me just a small amount of drop off on the back of the trailer roof for the normal air conditioner run-off... Better for us to keep the run-off going to the back side of the trailer verses the patio side...

Make sure you haven't tightened the inside gasket down too tight. That will pull the unit down onto the drains and stop the flow that way. We had that happen because the gasket had collapsed down. Loosed the gasket up and the water started flowing out. Wound up having to replace the gasket so the unit was sitting slightly higher off the drains.

It sounds to me that the condensation drain pan is overflowing and not running out the small hole on to the roof. On my 2007 TT I had this issue a few times. The hole is probably plugged up with something. I had to remove the cover and some more sheet metal to get at mine from the roof. CLean it out and no more issue. Good Luck!

Anybody here ever try to run a hose from the drain pan off the side of the camper to help keep water from near the gasket? It may end up being extra maintenance due to clogging but worth asking.

Sounds like all of these recommendations are potentially valid. It's pretty easy to take the cover off the inside unit and see if the seals overly compressed or not compressed enough. If you have a Coleman Mach (very common), the tabs are white and should just touch the roof membrane when compressed properly.
