How do you remove the Valance over the front door ?
I removed the 3 screws that appear to hold it on but it won't come off the wall. I tried to pull it off but didn't want to break it,I pushed up on both sides even with taping it with my hand and nothing. Put a putty knife behind it to try and feel other hidden attachments but nothing.
Thanks for your help, Tunce

They use industrial velcro to hold items like that at times and that stuff is hard to seperate. Not sure if that is the case here or not.

OK, I'll give it a more powerful pull and see if that does it.
This is my problem, I have that plunger on top of my door and after about 20 days of use the screws start pulling out and the ends work their way off. Today I drilled through the door for the left hand bracket and used (3) 10/32x2" sst bolts and nuts and that's all good but I still need to do that right side.
When it works it works good, just open the door and it opens up 90deg. and out you go. This was standard in my unit..

See those 3 decorative buttons? GENTLY pop them off and you will see the screws that hold that piece to the wall. A large flat tipped screwdriver will work but dont put it in too far. Just at the edge..

I'm at the point of using a bomb! The 3 screws are out and I'm really pulling on that thing and it's bending , must be glued to the wall. I put the putty knife on the left lower edge and then put the hammer to it and that sucker is still on there. Looks like a call to Jayco and hope they don't tell me (Liquid Nail).

I think that's the problem as you can tell,if they were more in line there might be less stress during movement.

Just got off the phone with Jayco and they said after you remove the 3screws the Valance should come right off. What's odd about this is when I try to insert a putty knife I stops about 2" short all the way around but they said no glue,no caulk, nothing just the wood frame and those 3 screws holding it on. Time for my 3 pound hammer now!

You might be right because I tried again and I think it's on forever. I would literally have to rip it out and I'm not going to do that. I'll just deal with the screws on the right hand side.

Do you think that it might slide up vertically? Maybe some type of hanger bracket or something? Just a thought.

It's not a double screw is it? One to hold the button and then another one below the snap. I've seen those also.

Is it possible that the screws from the outside holding the piston on are all the way through the wall and into the valance?

I had to take the valance off mine too. My pantry sets in the corner, and its door opens right into the valance - which prevents the pantry door from opening a full 90 degrees. When I installed the slide-out trays in my pantry, they wouldn't slide out until I removed the valance. I just popped off the buttons, removed the screws, and it came right off. Sorry you're having so much trouble with yours.
Have you tried C-3?
On second thought, tie one end of a rope around the valance and the other end around Tunce, then throw a steak across the room. He'll have it off of there in no time!
