Jayco X17Z Lift Kit?

I purchased a 2011 X17Z last year, and I really love this camper. The only real issue I have, is it rides pretty low and I don't feel very comfortable taking it on old logging roads. Does anyone know where I may be able to purchase a lift kit? Has anyone installed one? I have the Dexter Torflex single axle suspension. Thanks,

Jayco shows a lift kit on their web site under options. Call your dealer to see if they can do it.
I agree that the sewer drain is pretty low, I might do the same thing.
I wonder if it can be done in a driveway. I have jacks, and tools, and my dealer is like an hour from here, and I can probably do it myself.
Maybe I'll call my dealer tomorrow.

That is a good idea. Our 17A can't be backed up our driveway because it is too steep. We have to go in through a neighbor's yard.

The only "lift kit" available for the "torflex" axel is a factory installed option . Thats not to say that an experinced welder can't do it aftermarket, my son did our 19h. There were no bolt on kits available last year anyway. Larry

I just heard back from Jayco, and they told me that for the 19H there is no kit from the factory, just like 19HF250 mentioned above. I guess that 19H axle is bolted to the frame from what they said.
Guess I just have to be carefull.
I would also like to put 14 inch tires on that trailer, but that's another thread!

Thank you all very much! At least I know that I'm not crazy. I think that my best option is to fab up my own lift kit and as Chuck said, "Get some bigger tires". It may take me a couple weeks, but I will post my progress. Thanks again!

O.K., I admit I'm new at all of this, but don't you still need the lift kit to be able to use bigger tires?

Depends on how much bigger. I upgraded to 14" with no issues. Could have even gone to 15" without problems.

It seems that changing the tires to a larger one makes a lot of sense. When ordering new tires, and rims, there is some measurement you have to take on the lug nuts. Who knows how to measure that?
