Leaky bunk end

We went out for our second trip this past weekend and on Saturday night it rained pretty hard. In the morning my niece saw water in the corner of the front bunk. I couldn't really tell where the water was coming in because it had stopped raining. Any advice?

My 2006 will do the same thing. PopUp Gizmos will help but not eliminate the problem. I gave up and just fold up a small towel in the corner and change it out frequently.

On mine it seems to follow the channel where the canvas attaches and then exits the bottom.

Corner of the front bunk? Which corner, on the front wall, or away from the wall at the end of the tenting? The best way to test it is open it when you get home and hose it down.

Chances are this is just a minor leak in the seams. You can get this with new tents and pop-ups also. When you first got the trailer did you "season" it? In other words open it up and get the bunks nice and wet and let them completely dry. That forces the stitching in the tenting to expand and shrink to seal the seams.

We're on our second hybrid and have never had leaks, our last hybrid we had for 10 years.

Thanks for the advice. I did not season the tenting, but when I got home yesterday I did hose it off really good and there was water coming in but my wife couldn't tell from where. Maybe I will try again this weekend. It was on the front corner away from the wall.

I put Seam Sealer on all the seams and stitching and I have 0 leaks on the ends. Now I also have the pop up gizmos but that's to keep the trailer cooler in summer and warmer in winter. I just put the sealer on today, once every4 years and takes about 30 minutes.
