No 12 volt power
I am new to ownership so bear with me. We bought a 23B last year. I have realized nothing works when 110 volt is not connected. Now, the battery is brand new, I also checked it at the plug at the tongue. I am getting 13 volts on the battery. It is also plugged back into the plug on the tongue. Now to the breaker. When I plug in the TT to 100 volt, my low voltage breaker is working. All the lights, plugs etc is good. The power inverter fan runs and the light is on. Now when I unplug the 110 volt, it is dead in the water. There is no juice in the wires at the breaker. Where else can I check and what can I check. Thanks, David.

I lost my 12 volt power when a wire nut broke loose behind the breaker box. The 30 amp electrical cord shares the same space as the wiring and I figure it knocked the wires loose. It also knocked the plug from the inverter to the breaker box out so I had all kinds of trouble. Took a day to figure out and five minutes to fi it.

Also there is a 30amp reverse polarity fuse going between the battery and the converter, I would suggest checking this fuse.

There should be a fuse in there, see if it is blown or corroded.

This is just an empty box. It must just house an extra plug for adding maybe another battery or something at a later date. Tomorrow when it is daylight, I will be pulling the wire loom and looking for an in-line fuse. I found a harness inside just as the wires come through the floor and pulled it apart. the battery side has no power, so my issue is somewhere within 5 feet of the battery.

X2 .........., The 30amp fuse is normally located within 12" of the battery. Also check the battery ground cable that it's not rusted at it's landing point. New battery...., cables re-connected correctly?

I will check the ground in the morning. I looked at and thought about removing it from the ground, cleaning it for the heck of it and reattaching it. It sure can't hurt.

Too small to be primary battery wire
Connect your battery and perform the test in this video from your 7 Pin plug.

Well I solved my problem. It actually was that little plug. I pulled the wire loom down and started following the red wire. The red wire loops into the plug and the back out the other side. When I looked at the little housing, it says on the back, red 10 fuse. I got a little curious and decided to put a fuse in the slot. Voila, now the 12 volt system works. I probably would have thought of it as a fuse holder if there was a blown fuse in it, but it was empty.

It is likely the previous owner pulled the fuse to disconnect the battery. You will want to somehow disconnect the battery when you are not using the camper for more than a few days. This will prevent discharging the battery by the alarms and significantly extend the battery life. Lead acid batteries do not like being discharged more than about 50%. You can pull the fuse, disconnect a battery lead, or install a disconnect switch.

What kind of disconnect switches are mostly used. Just a basic toggle switch or something special?

A basic toggle switch probably will not handle the current. Do a search for a battery disconnect switch or visit a marine or RV store. You need a switch that will handle at least 30 amps. The battery generally has a 30 amp fuse in its wiring.

Glad you found the fuse. A simple toggle will not work. Here are a few that will

Your original picture showed that fuse connection out by the tongue jack. The battery disconnect devices pictured above are not water proof and need to be installed inside, probably up by the converter, in series with the main battery cable.
