Going to the dealership to sign off the deal. Question(s)

Will the battery be fully charged, if not..does it charge while you are driving. (park is only a 2 hour drive) If you run out of battery while camping (non electrical site) how do you recharge it. My husband is bringing along a very small solar panel, he does plan on installing a 100W solar panel kit this winter for future use. When we put the TT in storage for the winter, should we remove the battery and bring it home.

Also, do they usually come with full tanks of propane

Second - great questions.

New TT's are usually filled upon delivery to the owner but this is up to the dealer since they are not filled at the factory.

Battery usage is subjective to how you camp. Running heaters can be draining and using lights. Solar is helpful and glad to hear you are getting a 100 amp panel soon.

I would recommend your first outing be at a place with full hookups so you can be sure test everything out completely. Keep an eye on your monitor panel to see how your battery usage goes if you are not hooked up to electric.

Remove the battery over the winter. Bring it home, wash it down making sure the top is clean and store it in your basement on a block of wood. Put a trickle charger on to keep it fully charged. I do this with all my equipment over the winter and the batteries will last longer.
