Pink antifreeze in Fresh Tank?

Hi all. So I get my x20e outta storage few weeks back and unfortunately it was going to be 16 degrees for a few nights so I had to winterize. For some reason the other day I check under the rv and notice some pink antifreeze in the fresh water tank. No idea how this could happen since I by-passed the hw tank and did everything as usual from the water pump. Any thots folks?

I have a shut-off valve between the FWT and water pump. If your setup is similar, could the valve be defective or not closed tightly when you winterized?

I'd drain the tank, flush out the remaining RV antifreeze and perform the FWT sanitation routine. By the time you do all that, any residual antifreeze would be minute. Besides, RV antifreeze is supposedly non-toxic.

I would guess the valve at the pump that you flip to bypass the FW tank was not fully closed or a little dirt created a space for the anti freeze to slip past. When you flush the system rotate your valves a couple times, to flush out any potential debris. It is also a good time to clean the filter screen right before the pump.
