Plug for this thing

I am curious about the plug for these. I know this is for 12 volt appliances such as a light or a fan, I am trying to find out if the plug is basically like one of the old headphone plugs?

I think a standard RADIO SHACK stereo 1/4-inch plug will fit it...

Two point 1/4" is out there somewhere. It might be hard to find, though. My Lafayette HA-63 shortwave uses one for the headphone jack. I also have an adapter that goes from 1/4" two point to RCA.

Electric Guitar plugs / cables are 1/4" mono (two point connection) and you can get them at any music store.

I found them here:

RadioShack® 1/4" Mono Phone Plug (2-Pack)

Model: 274-1536 | Catalog #: 274-1536

Price:$4.49

http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=2103992

There's just one review and the purchaser rated them poor for application he was using them for, but that was in 2008.

With shipping, that plug is about $2.50 from Monoprice. It's no wonder Phone Shack is on the verge of going out of business.

Etrailer is a source for the bunk fan/light combo.

What's really irritating is that they used to include 2 of these with every hybrid and PUP. When we bought the X20E something told me that I should keep the ones I got with our '03 Kiwi. the sales man asked if we had them and said that we should keep them instead of including them with the trade.

Our x20e didn't even come with the plug outlets. Looking to install a couple, I miss the fan/flight combo for the bunk ends.

Fan light combo. Look on E-Bay. I picked up a couple for about 20 bucks each.

Anyone know if its possible to convert from that to a normal 12v outlet? I haven't been able to find much on that or pre-made adapters.

I should be picking up my new 17Z next week! While I do have and enjoy the light/fan combo, I was thinking it would be nice if I could use that outlet to power other things like a cell phone charger. Otherwise I think I'm just going to go ahead and install a few 12v outlets myself for such things.
