Power outage. Help!
Currently camping, was connected to shore power and everything just died. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Connected to shore power in site next to us and still no power so I don't think it's the pedestal on our site. Battery power is working fine.
We have a 23xb is that helps with ideas.
Thanks.

Did you try resetting the CG pedestal breakers. Reset your TT's main breakers, a couple times?
Plug in a 110 device (hair drier, lamp...) into the pedestal to see if there is any power. Some CG's have a main breaker at the end of the row that may be causing the problem. Do you have a volt/ohm meter you can check the pedestal with? If not ask a fellow camper if they have one that you could use, and check the pedestal receptacle
Good luck
Don

Did you have the AC running or the microwave coffee pot, hair drier when AC power shut down? Any snap or click noise when it happened?
Do you have a volt/ohm meter with you?

Check your GFCI also, along with breakers.

Only thing on was the tv and a few lights. Did not notice any clicking.
Have voltmeter. Will check in morning.
Thanks for all the suggestions.

Sounds to me like the campground had a short outage.

I assume you checked both the on board circuit breakers and the CG post breakers.
The GFI, affects most of the outlets, but not the microwave, it is on a separate breaker.
if it is none of those items I suspect the CG post. I carry this combo so I can check the post outlet for both power and proper wiring.

During our pdi walk through this month, the dealer warned us that this could happen if one of the gcfi breakers trip. He said always go and hit the reset on the bathroom outlet plug, since apparently it will effect everything.
Don't know if that will help at all, but certainly wouldn't hurt to try it.

What is you experience level with checking 110 VAC circuits with a VOM volt/ohm meter?
Can you give me the make/model of your TT's controller?

Thanks for all of the replies. It was the GFI that got tripped. Once reset, everything was fine. Kind of embarrassing that I posted to ask for that help when it seemed like it should have been obvious, but that's what the boards are for right??

Don't feel bad, I posted in a half panic and these guys told me to check the 30A to 110A adapter and sure enough, it was burned up.should have started there first but I guess we always think worst case scenario...glad you got it fixed, these guys are great aren't they?
