Prevent 2 piece mattress from separating?

My hybrid (2007 23b) has a 2 piece mattress for both bunks. I'm not sure if that's the case for most hybrids. Even with a fitted sheet, the mattress will spread apart during the night and it is incredibly uncomfortable. I bought a memory foam mattress topper, hoping that helps.... but if not, any ideas on how to keep them together?

Buy an area rug "non slip" pad to put underneath.

I don't have the 21b and mine fit snug both front and rear bunk and I find the mattress very comfortable but my wife needs memory foam for hers but I forget the pound density of the pad but it's quite heavy.

We've found this the case in our 19H.

Has anyone tried a normal queen mattress?

I found the mattress topper worked on ours. I think that should be fine.

Put the mattress topper UNDER the mattress. Still same padding and mattress won't separate.
