Received a message from the salesman that he had never made an inquiry using my VIN. The Jayco rep FINALLY chimed in after I specifically ask him to respond. He said the he confirmed with a product specialist and the lady I spoke to in customer service that I have Alpha Ply. I hope this is the end of it. It is frustrating that I had to do this much prodding to get a definitive answer from the dealer and a Jayco rep when a 2 minute phone call from me direct to Jayco had the question answered.

From my experience, the quickest and easiest is to call Jayco customer service with your VIN!

Glad you got your answer.

In the future, when in doubt, call Jayco direct.

If I recall properly I saw one Diflex roof and it had a smooth surface, no orange peel texture... correct me anyone if I am wrong!

That's what I was told, and from remarks so far on this forum, it has held to be true.

My 2012 29 QBH was mfg in Jan 2012, it appears that this is when the roof material was changing as I have firm orange peel (Alpha Ply) on the roof however the slide has soft/plyable smooth (EPDM) on the top. I just assumed this difference indicated what was available and the slide was built prior to the final trailer assembly.

Prior to this TT I had a 2012 26BH, mfg in May 2011, and it was EPDM roof.

I guess my point is VIN is the best determining factor, however there could be reasons why Jayco CUstomer Service could provide conflicting data.
